Vaca to Seaworld

                                        Over the weekend a weekend vacation to Sandiago.

This was Sophias first vacation and let me say this baby girl continues to bless me with how good she is , with everything and anything we do. We loved the shamu show, not so much Sophia and Gracie because they got soaked! and ny and every situation! Friday night we had a nice dinner out with our parents, sister, and our girls at a mexican food restaurant in Old town. Followed by a trip to the Outlets to do some shopping! this mama loves her shopping...

Saturday morning we woke up early grabbed some breakfast at the hotel and headed to Sea world. It was mine, Sophia, and Gracie's first time to sea world and let me say it did not disappoint! It was so much better than i honestly thought it was going to be, i told me hunny i thought it was going to be like the phoenix zoo where you go for a few hours and are bored and ready to go home. But sea world was not that at all, i already cant wait to go back. So many shows things to do for the kids and us. A few of my favorites was the dolphin show, the play area for the kids was so nice and had so many things for so did we.. i was not expecting that! lol.. Gracie loved the sea lion show because they have the sea lions and performers dance to gangman style & if you know my Gracie girl you know she loves all those funky songs.. We had such a fun filled long day at sea world.We ended up leaving around 5:00pm and headed back to the hotel for a short time of rest. We then got ready and headed for a nice dinner & back to the hotel to get some much needed sleep. Sunday morning started with breakfast manudo & posole & off to do some more shopping at the swap meet & outlets around 1 we headed back home.. once we arrived in yuma we had a nice dinner at red lobster and arrived back home... it was our first time coming back to our house after a vacation and not an apartment and man it was So good to be HOME <3

Anniversary weekend

This weekend marked one year of marriage for my husband and I, this year has flown by and a lot has happened!! Being married to your soul mate and best friend has honestly been better than I could of ever imagined. We have so much fun together and all though our marriage isn't perfect and we have our own problems just as every couple, this life that I get to life is perfect for me!! For those who know my husband know what a good heart he has and what a truly good guy he is and I'm SO blessed and truly believe he IS who God has choose for me! I know without a doubt that he loves me with all his heart and that's just the best thing a girl could ever ask for... And not to leave out why I know we are so blessed in this marriage. It is 100% because God is the center of it all. If anyone has issues in marriage relationships or just life in general try to seek God and surrender whatever the issue is to him and it even says in the book of promises (bible) he WILL make your paths straight! Amen!  
    For our anniversary we had more of a weekend celebration more than just a day, friday night started off with watching iron man 3 with a group of our friends, Adam Erin George Ernie and his kiddos and victor gracie and I, after that we had games and pizza at our house.. And the boys played some ping pong like always... .But Lemme tell you, I didn't want that table but it has become such a huge hit! Saturday night we had all headed to up town ally over in surprise and has such a fun night, started off with a wonderful dinner and some margaritas then laser tag with everyone, and the girls won woop woop!! Then some arcade games and an hour of bowling.. Then we all came back to our place for some scene it!

 Sunday was our actual anniversary, I woke up early to make my hunny some breakfast, then we got ready for church and went and picked up our kiddos from the in laws. So grateful to have them to watch our baby's for us.. Then we went to church with our bffs Nicole and Chris followed by some of the best Mexican food I've ever had at Arribas! Yum. Sense our anniversary is on cinco de mayo we celebrate by going out for some mexican food :) After lunch we headed over to do some anniversary shopping, toys r us, Ross And the tanger outlets :-) my hunny always is the best gift giver and bought me a new coach purse...

we came home and took some naps with our girls and spent the rest of the evening as a family. I can't get over this blessed life I life.

 I'm really loving my new schedule because I get to spend the mornings with my girls and go to work at night. I love my morning routine with them.. On the weeks that daddy works early, our mornings usually start with Gracie coming into my room to snuggle and at that point I've grabbed Sophia from her crib and we are all 3 together in my bed :) then around 8 we all get up and come down stairs to make some breakfast... Gracie usually wants waffles or cereal and I usually make Sophia some bananas or apples with her rice cereal... We use the baby bullet and it's so easy and better for her than jar baby food.. Then we have Some morning cartoons and get ready for the day.. 

I feel blessed and so privileged to be able to stay with them instead of sending them to child care and daddy watches them at night when I go to work..  Life is Good! I am at the happiest point of my life that I've ever been!

Sophie is 5 months!!!

Been a while

Boy has it been a while, I went through a very busy season of my life... For the last few months I was one busy mama, I was going to school to become a certified nursing assistant, taking care of my new baby girl, my crazy wild outgoing beautiful 4 year old and being a wife :) and that is the best job ever. We moved out of our 2 bedroom small apartment into a 3 bedroom 2story beautiful house, it's so nice having a house instead of having our family smooshed into a little apartment.

I got a new Job about 5 weeks ago at Uhaul as a roadside assistance agent and I absolutely love this job! My hunny is still working his same job and works about 50-57 hours a week. I am thankful for my hardworking husband :) 

Sophia is growing so quick, she is 5 months now and weighs almost 18 lbs and is 26 inches long! She is in the 90th percentile, this girl loves to eat eat eat just like her daddy lol. Our precious girl got dedicated to the Lord on Easter Sunday by a good friend of ours Pastor Ray Garcia. 

Gracie is still as petite as she has always been, her and her sis are going to be completely opposite lol. she is such a smart girl, we taught her just in a few days my phone number. She has grown up so much this last year she has the best manners. She has great manners saying please and Ty, asking to be excused and cleaning up after her self. I am one proud mom. 

Gracie is also the best sister, I got super blessed she loves her little sissy so much & is always ready to help! No signs of jealousy thank you Lord.

Valentines Day

Tomorrow is VALENTINES DAY, a holiday that the world says is 'the day' to show your love to someone you care about. But truth is , you should show your family, friends, or significant other that you love and appreciate them EVERY DAY. The holiday is also about gifts, chocolate, and flowers. I love all of the above, so I do appreciate this day and my husband. Unfortunately my hard working husband has to work the late shift this week which means he works from 10a-8pm. So we exchanged gifts early, we went to the Coach store to get me a new purse that I've been wanting for a while, but ended up leaving with a Coach back pack diaper bag. (I know I'm such a mom lol) I've been using it this week and I LOVE it so much, so much easier to put it on my shoulders and not having my diaper bag fall off. My husband also surprised me with a new Coach cell phone case and we got him a new Coach wallet as his gift. So let's just say coach made some good money from us this time. I always got Valentines gifts from my parents growing up so I'm going to continue that tradition with my children. We got Gracie some Goodies candy a new toothbrush lol!! A princess Bell baby and a few other things. Sophia is still so small we had a hard time figuring out what to get her so we are thinking some new bottles and pacifiers. Gracie got super blessed with a IPod Nano from her nana so she is super excited about that gift. Hope everyone has a wonderful valentines day! And even if you don't have a significant other show the people in your life how much you love them!

Friday my sister in law and I took Sophia to get her pictures taken. I look for any excuse to go get pictures taken for my girls. I'm big on capturing moments and memory's through pictures. I'm always the one saying 'lets take a picture'. The reason we went Friday was because my sister in law bought Joey (her first nephew) a Ann Geddes bunny outfit and now it's been kinda like a tradition for her nephews and now nieces to get photographed in it. The pictures turned out super cute and I got a few other shots with Sophia's new pink headband with a big flower, the BIGGER the better!! Superbowl Sunday

Yesterday was the famous Superbowl Sunday that my hubbs has been waiting for. He loves football. Me not so much, I've tired to watch football and learn the game for him but It just to confusing for me. I like other sports, basketball UFC even baseball but not so much football.We had a Super Bowls get together with some of our friends & that's what I looked forward to was the fellowship and the commercials! We had lots of food fun and laughter, starting with me dropping an entire bag of ice on our kitchen floor & Gracie and her friend juju walking around in high heels and falling lol.

Our menu consisted of carne asada tacos, wings, subs,  jalapeno poppers, bean dip, and buffalo chicken dip! YUM!! 

We really enjoy having people over, Victor is big into hosting things and entertaining so he will find any reason to host something at our place.

Back to school

On Monday I took a huge step....
Paid my deposit to hold my space in the next NURSING ASSISTANT class! I start Monday February 18th, I am SO excited!! This is something I've pushed off for two years now. I got the desire in my heart shortly after my dad a brain aneurysm that ruptured and he was hospitalized for a long period of time. My dad was in & out of the hospital / nursing homes for over a year. Over that time he was in ICU (intensive care unit) for the first few months after he had his brain surgery, he was induced into coma to help him heal.My father was one of the lucky ones, the statistics say 15% of people die before they reach the hospital. It was actually a miracle that my father was found, My parents had been separated for 6 months or so, my mom had just happened to stop by the house( which she didn't ever do) and found him passed out in the bathroom.
My father did live but didn't have a full recovery , he wasn't able to walk on his own, eat, he had a feeding tube and a tracheotomy ( a breathing tube through a small hole in the throat). He had struggles , even memory loss, now that was hard.  I'm so thankful he lived that day, He had the opportunity to accept Jesus as his savior and now I can live with the overwhelming peace and Joy knowing where my daddy is today! He had the opportunity to spend time with his grand baby and watch her grow.

 Now that you are filled in on that! The whole reason I want to become a ICU nurse  is because of my daddy, I want to make him proud. I was in that environment for so long, i saw some of the best nurses and some of the worst nurses. I want to be one of the good ones that really do care, to be able to serve and help other people. I want to make a difference. My Plan is to take this 5 week class, get certified, get a job quickly *fingers crossed* work for a few years and get enrolled into nursing school. I'm so thankful for my husband who doesn't let me stop, he helps me reach my goals, he gave me that extra push to get my GED completed and to enroll on school ;)

Wonderful Weekend

This has been such a good weekend , my heart is full and happy!
The weekend started with a doctors appointment for me. Friday early morning, well that turned my day upside down, wasn't the doctors appointment it self but the procedure... It was to get my long term birth control... After my appointment I was in drastic pain, the most pain I've ever been in , in my life... My kiddos were at the In-laws so I was able to try to sleep off the pain, and once my husband got home I took some pain killers& the pain got better finally. Thank God.
Friday night was Maddison Raum's 5th birthday party, Maddison is the youngest of 6 in the Raum family. I was their nanny for 3 years ,they are like my family. It was nice and refreshing to spend time with them , sense I stopped working for them in July I had only seen them once or twice unfortunately. Gracie was SO excited to be reunited with her BFF's Morgan and maddison. She even got to have a sleep over with them friday night! Funny story- they wanted to sleep down stairs on the couch but in the middle of the night Gracie girl woke up , went up stairs and climbed into morgans top bunk LOL my crazy girl . I as well was thrilled to see some of my favorite people and mentors, Debi, Donna, Dena, Sarah and Kim! It was the first time for some of them seeing baby Sophie, so she got passed around & around lol. The birthday party was a lot of fun! Saturday night I got to see all of them again at Debi's pot luck get together! Yeeee! Now for today Sunday, the day of rest ! & spending time as a family! Our normal Sundays include breakfast, church, football and spend the day at my husbands family's. This rainy sunday however mommy and daddy are both sick, cold, sore throat, running nose, not fun! So we didnt attend church this morning . We are at the in laws spending time eating Manudo ( yuk not me ) watching movies, no football today thank heavens! Hopefully Vic will let me sneak away and do some shopping!(cross my finger's)

why i love being a mom

•I love that they look at me and love me more than any material thing
•I love that they would choose their daddy and I over anyone
•I love that they depend on me
•I love when they give me kisses & hugs
•I love that they like the snuggle
•I love their sweet pure kind and innocent hearts
• I love that I'm raising a world changer
•I love how helpful they are
•I love that when they are scared they come to us for comfort
• I love that when I'm sad my girls just have to look at me or kiss me and it all changes
• I love their curiosity ( even tho something she asks why why why)
• I love that they love Jesus
• I love toothless grins
• I love the baby smell
• I love that even when I'm out with my husband they still are stuck on my mind.
• I love holding my sleeping baby / or looking at them sleeping and thinking how beautiful and innocent they are
• I love praying with my children
•I love that having a movie night with popcorn and candy and letting the rules slide is the most exciting thing to them
• I love when my daughter picks a flower to give me

I wouldn't change being a mom for anything. Having my two girls has been the best thing that has ever happened to me! I'm so thankful i have victor to do life with me & raise our children together! Here are some of my favorite pictures :)
